How to pull the harmonic balancer in a 90s model corvette?

I have to pull it to change out the distributor. The problem is i cant get a puller in there, there is a welded bar that runs right in front of it. It wont help if i pull the radiator either. I am trying to do it without having to raise the motor up on one side just to get to one bolt. A skrew driver wont work either. Any suggestions? How to pull the harmonic balancer in a 90s model corvette?
Try Auto-Zone, they loan out tools for doing this type of job. They may have a different puller that you need. How to pull the harmonic balancer in a 90s model corvette?
I'm assuming you're talking about an LT1, since you're looking at a distributor behind a balancer!

You can get in there, remove the three bolts, and then (very carefully - no angry wailing on here!), get behind the balancer and tap on each side (alternating), using a small mallet and piece of wood (wood is held on the back of the balancer between the opti and the balancer, and you tap the back of the wood, coaxing the balancer forward). Did I mention be careful? I attached an article that kind of has the idea, although you can hold the board downwards and tap on the open spot, since that's easier to do in the driveway.

I used a little bit of liquid wrench on the nose of the hub, since it tends to have a bit of rust.
